Passport Office to remain open five days a week

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has decided to keep the office open five days a week for the convenience of the public.

According to official sources, earlier, it was announced through a public notice that the passport office would be open four days a week.

Now, as usual, all field formations and offices of the passport office will remain open from Monday to Friday.

It may be recalled that in view of the tense situation in the middle East, the Prime Minister had given an austerity plan in which it was decided that there would be four days of work a week while 50 percent of the employees would be allowed to work from home.
