PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Peshawar Electric Supply Company on Thursday issued a clarification regarding load management in Swabi following public protests over electricity outages.
According to a PESCO spokesperson, efforts are being made to keep load-shedding at the minimum possible level in the district. Officials said that out of 110 feeders in Swabi, 58 feeders are currently exempt from load management.
The statement added that load management on the remaining feeders is being carried out in accordance with the ratio of line losses.

Only three high-loss feeders are experiencing up to 16 hours of load management, the officials maintained.
