PHA finalizes special arrangements in parks on Eid

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) The Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) has finalized arrangements to facilitate the visitors

and ensure cleanliness in addition to providing a safe, pleasant and well-maintained recreational

environment in major parks of the city on Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

A PHA spokesman said on Monday that special measures had been taken to improve sanitation,

maintenance and public facilities in the parks where a large influx of visitors is expected

during Eid festivities.

PHA teams have been deployed to ensure that all major parks remain clean, properly maintained and fully operational to accommodate the expected crowds, he added.

According to Director General PHA Dilawar Khan, the authority had initiated immediate maintenance and beautification work in prominent parks across the city to enhance their condition before the Eid holidays.

He said that visitors would be provided with a comfortable and family-friendly environment so that they could spend quality leisure time with their families during the festive occasion.

He said that special arrangements have been made in major parks including Bagh-e-Jinnah, D-Ground Park, Kaleem Shaheed Colony Park, Pahari Ground Park and Deccan Park where security measures and maintenance work are being ensured.
