Pilgrims offer Dhuhr, Asr prayers at historic Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Thousands of pilgrims offered Dhuhr and Asr prayers at Masjid Al-Khayf on the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Tarwiyah, in a peaceful spiritual atmosphere during Hajj 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance completed extensive operational and service preparations at the historic mosque to facilitate worshippers during the Hajj season.

The report said the ministry equipped the mosque with integrated technical and operational facilities, including organized prayer areas, cooling and air-conditioning systems, sound systems and drinking water services.

Authorities said field, technical and supervisory teams remained deployed around the clock to ensure smooth movement of pilgrims and help them perform prayers comfortably and peacefully.

SPA told APP that the mosque is also hosting awareness lectures and religious guidance sessions as part of the ministry’s educational programs in the holy sites.

The report added that the preparations reflect Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to provide pilgrims with a spiritually enriching and well-organized environment during Hajj rituals.
