PM Shehbaz lauds security forces for foiling infiltration attempts along Pak-Afghan border

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday commended security forces' officers and personnel for thwarting infiltration attempts by “Fitna al-Khawarij” (terrorists) along the Pak-Afghan border.

The premier praised the professional capabilities of the security forces’ officers and personnel for foiling militants’ attempts to infiltrate from Afghanistan into Pakistan in Mohmand and North Waziristan, and for killing 13 militants.

“We will continue the fight against the menace of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country,” said PM Shehbaz Sharif.

He added, “Every soldier of the Pakistan Armed Forces is actively engaged day and night in protecting our beloved homeland.”

The Prime Minister stated, “In the unwavering resolve to defend the motherland, the entire nation, including myself, stands shoulder to shoulder with our brave armed forces.”
