PML-N holds thanksgiving rally in Mansehra celebrating US-Iran ceasefire

MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) local leadership and workers on Thursday celebrated a day of thanksgiving following the successful ceasefire between the United States and Iran, achieved through the long-standing diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The event featured a “Fateha and Peace Rally” led by Sardar Shah Jahan Yusuf, President of PML-N Hazara Division and Parliamentary Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. A large number of district officials and party workers participated in the rally, carrying banners and placards in support of the Prime Minister and the Pakistan Army while offering prayers for peace.

Despite heavy rainfall, the rally was successfully conducted, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of party workers and participants. During the event, Sardar Shah Jahan extended special thanks to the Traders Association of District Mansehra for their cooperation and active participation in the rally.

Addressing the gathering, Sardar Shah Jahan Yusuf stated that the prolonged and effective diplomatic efforts led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir had averted a major global crisis through the US-Iran ceasefire. He emphasized that this achievement enhanced Pakistan’s prestige internationally and highlighted the country’s positive global image.

He further stated that the people of Pakistan take pride in the leadership of the Prime Minister and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their pivotal role in promoting global peace.

The rally concluded with prayers for peace and stability in Pakistan and for the continuation of harmony and security at the global level.
