LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) has announced launch of a nationwide free Information Technology (IT) training programme aimed at promoting economic empowerment among various segments of society.
This announcement made by PMML IT Head Malik Waqas Saeed in a statement issued on Friday. He said that the initiative is being organised under PMML’s special project, “Apna Kamao,” which seeks to provide dignified earning opportunities through modern digital skills.
He said that the training programme will be conducted from April 6 to April 10, with daily sessions scheduled from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. He noted that no specific educational qualification is required to participate, adding that even individuals with basic knowledge of mobile phone usage can benefit from the programme.
He further said that participants will be trained in key areas such as digital marketing, social media management, and online freelancing, with sessions designed in a simple and accessible manner.
The objective, he added, is to enable individuals to earn a respectable livelihood from home and improve their financial stability.
Malik Waqas Saeed stated that the programme has been designed to cater to a wide range of participants, including unemployed youth, homemakers, salaried individuals, and members of the labour class. He emphasized that in the modern era, the importance of digital skills continues to grow as online employment opportunities expand rapidly.
He urged young people, women, professionals, and individuals from all walks of life to take full advantage of this free training initiative, enhance their skills, and contribute towards achieving economic self-reliance.
