Police arrest 33 criminals in May

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Police arrested 33 criminals belonging to 15 dangerous gangs and recovered stolen

property worth over Rs 7.04 million during a month-long intensified crackdown across

the district in May.

According to a press release issued by DPO office on Monday, the operation was

launched on the special direction of District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha Muhammad

Sohaib Ashraf.

The police teams demonstrated high professional expertise while tracking down gangs

involved in serious crimes, including robbery, theft, and housebreaking.

DPO Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf stated that Sargodha police remained alert round-the-clock

to protect the lives and property of citizens. He further emphasized that a zero-tolerance

policy had been adopted against gangs involved in dacoity and burglary to provide relief

to affected residents.
