Police arrest accused for assaulting citizens,vandalizing shop:

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Bhalwal City police on Sunday arrested suspects involved in assaulting a citizen and vandalizing a shop in Ameen Bazaar.

According to an FIR registered on the complaint of Muhammad Wali, the incident occurred on April 11 at Al-Rehman Jewellery, where a group of armed men including Azhar,Mazhar,Ikram, etc stormed the shop, held the occupants hostage, and subjected them to violence.

The complainant and his two colleagues sustained injuries, while the attackers also damaged shop property before fleeing.

DPO Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf took notice of the incident and directed immediate action. Police registered a case and conducted an operation, successfully arresting the accused.

Legal proceedings were under way.
