Police ensuring security of christian community

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Police have intensified security arrangements for the protection of life and property

of Christian community, said District Police Officer (DPO) Khanewal Muhammad Abid

here on Sunday.

The DPO visited several churches in different areas of the district, where he reviewed

security arrangements including entry and exit points, deployment of personnel, duty

checkpoints, and ongoing police patrolling.

During the visit, the DPO issued strict instructions to on-duty officers to ensure foolproof

security at all places of worship and maintain a close watch on any suspicious activity.

He also met church administration representatives and members of the Christian community,

assuring them that their safety remains the top priority of the district police.

“Protection of the lives and property of Christian community is the foremost priority

of Khanewal Police,” DPO Muhammad Abid stated.

He further emphasized that promoting interfaith harmony, brotherhood, and peace requires

collective efforts from all stakeholders.

The DPO added that Khanewal Police were taking all possible measures to maintain

a peaceful environment and ensure that citizens could observe their religious activities

without any fear or disruption.
