Police rounded up 34 proclaimed offenders

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) Sargodha police on Thursday apprehended 34 proclaimed offenders(POs) wanted in connection with various heinous crimes during a series of coordinated operations across the district over the last 24 hours.

According to a police spokesperson,dedicated police teams conducted targeted raids at multiple hideouts of the fugitives.

The arrested individuals were wanted in different cases involving armed robbery,theft,criminal breach of trust and bogus cheque fraud.

The spokesperson identified several of the arrested fugitives as Awais,Ali Asghar,Gulzar Hussain,Ghulam Mohiyuddin,Yaseen,Yaqoob,Mazhar,Kashif and Shahid.

Meanwhile,police operations and crackdowns were actively continuing across the region to apprehend other absconding offenders involved in various criminal activities.
