and avoid clicking on unverified links to prevent potential cyber-security threats and online fraud.
Talking to APP, the spokesperson for the district police emphasized that residents must refrain from sharing
personal or sensitive information on unknown websites or suspicious digital platforms to make sure their data
privacy.
He advised the public to verify any news, images, or videos before forwarding them to others, noting that such measures are vital to curb the spread of misinformation and fake news within the region.
The spokesperson called upon parents to monitor their children's social media activities and guide them against engaging with unverified digital content. He added that every individual should demonstrate responsible citizenship by adhering to digital safety protocols to maintain a secure online environment in Sargodha.
