PPP pays tribute to ZA Bhutto on 47th death anniversary

Leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) South Punjab paid rich tribute to party founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 47th death anniversary, vowing to continue his democratic and pro-people mission

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) Leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) South Punjab paid rich tribute to party founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 47th death anniversary, vowing to continue his democratic and pro-people mission.

In a joint media statement, PPP South Punjab President and former governor Punjab Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood, Senior Vice President Khawaja Rizwan Alam, and Chief Coordinator Abdul Qadir Shaheen said that every office-bearer and worker of the party is observing the anniversary with reverence and devotion.

They announced that various events and gatherings would be held across South Punjab to pay homage to the late leader, highlighting his lifelong struggle for the uplift and prosperity of the underprivileged segments of society.

The PPP leaders reiterated that the party continues to follow the democratic and public welfare-oriented vision of Bhutto under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, adding that politics, for PPP, remains a means of serving the people.
