PPSC member inspects Faisalabad centers; 30,000 candidates appearing in exams

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Member Dr. Irshad Ahmad conducted an extensive inspection of examination centers in Faisalabad and directed the officials to ensure maximum facilities, strict transparency and a secure testing environment as more than 30,000 candidates are participating in the exams

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Member Dr. Irshad Ahmad conducted an extensive inspection of examination centers in Faisalabad and directed the officials to ensure maximum facilities, strict transparency and a secure testing environment as more than 30,000 candidates are participating in the exams.

Dr. Irshad Ahmad reviewed arrangements at examination centers and emphasized that all measures aimed at facilitating candidates should be implemented in letter and spirit.

During visit, PPSC Director Muhammad Shabbir briefed the commission member about administrative, security and logistical arrangements made for the smooth conduct of examinations.

According to officials, written tests are currently being held for the posts of Admin Officer, Enforcement Officer and Audit Officer in the Punjab Revenue Authority. Examinations for the posts of Building Inspector in the Local Government and Community Development Department are also underway while the candidates are additionally appearing for the post of IT Manager in the board of Revenue.

Dr. Irshad Ahmad conducted a detailed review of examination arrangements and personally inspected the facilities being provided to the candidates. He checked the functioning of mobile phone signal jammers installed at examination centers to ensure transparency and prevent unfair means during the examinations.

The PPSC member also reviewed arrangements for cold drinking water, ventilation facilities, fans and other amenities provided to the candidates in view of prevailing weather conditions. He directed the center officials to maintain a conducive and comfortable environment throughout the examination process.

Regional Incharge Faisalabad Muhammad Asim provided a comprehensive briefing regarding operational arrangements, candidate management and security protocols adopted for the examinations.

He informed the visiting member that elaborate security arrangements have been made at all examination centers.

The presence of police personnel and Rescue 1122 staff has been ensured to maintain order and respond promptly to any emergency situation, he added.
