PR honours officers for achieving record land revenue

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) Divisional Superintendent (DS) Pakistan Railways Lahore Inamullah on Sunday presented cash awards and appreciation certificates to two Inspectors of Works in recognition of their outstanding performance in helping the Lahore Division achieve its assigned revenue target for the fiscal year 2025–26.

The award recipients included Inspector of Works Muhammad Ashraf and Inspector of Works Israr Ahmed. Divisional Executive Engineer Haji Muhammad also attended the ceremony.

Inamullah praised the officers and staff associated with land recovery operations for their dedication and contribution to achieving a historic level of revenue. He said the record performance reflected the commitment and hard work of the entire team.

The DS said the landmark achievement was made possible through the successful recovery of government land, effective action against the land mafia and improved land management practices. He added that the Lahore Division generated a record Rs3 billion in revenue from land during the fiscal year 2025–26, exceeding the previous fiscal year's figure by more than Rs1.7 billion.

Describing the accomplishment as a unique milestone in the history of Pakistan Railways Lahore Division, Inamullah said the success would further encourage officers and staff to continue working with dedication to protect railway assets and enhance revenue generation.
