Preparations reviewed for summer tourist season

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi on Friday inspected facilities at Pindi Point amid preparations for the summer tourist season.

Accompanied by senior officials, he reviewed cleanliness, traffic flow, parking and pedestrian arrangements.

He also examined ongoing beautification work and received briefings from relevant departments.

Shirazi directed authorities to ensure strict sanitation and improved traffic management, warning that negligence would not be tolerated.

He emphasized environment-friendly upgrades to preserve Murree’s natural appeal.

He said the administration was mobilizing resources to provide a safe and orderly environment for tourists.
