President congratulates women's cricket team

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday congratulated Pakistan women’s cricket team on their brilliant series victory against Zimbabwe.

He said, "Pakistani women cricketers have made the nation proud with their brilliant performance.

President paid tribute to Pakistan Cricket board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and the team management for their services.

"Pakistan Cricket Board’s efforts to promote women’s cricket are commendable," he said and prayed for further success of the national cricket team.
