LONDON: Prince Harry suffered a minor mishap during a goat yoga session in Warwickshire after being bumped by one of the animals while taking part in a charity event before returning to the United States.
The Duke of Sussex joined a goat yoga class at Maxstoke Castle on July 11 during a visit to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that supports children of military personnel who have died in service.
Surrounded by several freely roaming goats and their young, Harry was knocked while lying on a yoga mat inside the pen. At one point, a goat stepped on his groin, prompting the prince to laugh, cover the area with his hands and jokingly exclaim, “Ow. What are you doing?”
Despite the unexpected interruption, Harry continued participating in the lighthearted session, where attendees were encouraged to perform yoga poses and imitate goat sounds as part of the experience.
The event was one of several engagements during Harry’s UK visit. He also participated in wheelchair rugby and a pickleball exhibition at a “one year to go” event for the Invictus Games at the National Exhibition Centre.
Before returning to the United States, Harry was also reported to have spent private time with his wife, Meghan, their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and King Charles.
