Providing better facilities to lawyers to make justice system more effective: CM Bugti

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday said that the welfare of lawyers is among the priorities of the government and practical steps are being taken to solve the problems being faced by lawyers in the province.

He said this while taking to a joint delegation of members of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) and Balochistan Bar Council (BBC) called on him here..

During the meeting , they discussed in detail the problems being faced by the legal community and the ongoing and proposed measures for their welfare.

In the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the progress of the digital library and the Lawyer Welfare Housing Scheme, including medical coverage for the treatment and improvement of medical facilities for lawyers, provision of chambers for lawyers on concessional basis in Baldia Plaza, provision of pink scooters, shuttle carts, buses and pink vans for the convenience of lawyers.

On this occasion, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the justice system could be made more effective by providing better facilities to lawyers.

He expressed his determination that the government would work with the legal community to advance welfare projects and the projects started for lawyers to be completed as soon as possible.

The lawyers' representatives in the meeting included Pakistan Bar Council member Munir Ahmed Kakar, while Balochistan Bar Council members Nadir Chhalgari, Ayaz Mandokhel, Najeeb Kakar and Afzal Harifal. Principal Secretary Imran Zarkoon and Law Secretary Dr. Pervaiz Noshirwani were also present on the occasion.
