ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram has said that ensuring transparent, timely, and efficient revenue services for citizens is the top priority of the district administration.
He expressed these views during a visit to the District Service Delivery Center Abbottabad under the District Service Delivery 2.0 initiative, where he reviewed the overall performance of revenue service counters and facilities.
During the visit, the DC inspected the information desk, mutation counters, registry counters, issuance of land record (fard) services, record management systems, and other revenue-related operations. He emphasized the need to further improve service quality, enhance staff performance, and ensure that citizens are provided timely facilitation without unnecessary delay.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Interacting with citizens at the center, the Deputy Commissioner listened to their issues and feedback and directed the concerned officials to resolve public grievances on a priority basis in accordance with the law. He stressed that public service delivery must remain transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly at all times.
The DC further underlined that accurate record-keeping, faster service delivery, and effective complaint redressal are key responsibilities of the revenue system. He said the district administration is actively pursuing reforms aimed at modernizing the revenue system and strengthening good governance and public facilitation in Abbottabad.
