PU opens registration for undergraduate entry test 2026

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) The University of the Punjab has initiated the first phase of admissions for its undergraduate programs, with online registration for the mandatory entry test now open.

According to a university spokesperson, candidates can register online for the entrance test until May 25. The entry test, which is compulsory for admission to the 2026 academic session, is expected to be held on June 14 in major cities across Pakistan.

The spokesperson added that 25 percent of the total admission weightage has been allocated to the written entrance test.

For admission to LLB programs, candidates will be required to qualify both the Law Admission Test (LAT) and the Punjab University entry test.

A total of seven different entry tests will be conducted for various undergraduate disciplines. Applicants have been advised to visit the university’s official website for detailed information regarding eligibility criteria and admission requirements.
