Punjab govt striving to fulfil people’s hopes through public welfare: CM

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday said hope is a powerful force that gives people the strength to move forward and transforms determination into success.

In her message on International Day of Hope, she said the day reminds everyone that hope should never be abandoned despite hardships and challenges, adding that hope enables people to find a ray of light even in the darkest moments.

The CM said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had become a symbol of hope for the people and was working day and night to fulfil their expectations through practical measures.

She expressed confidence that the people of Punjab would continue to receive improved healthcare facilities, every homeless family would realize the dream of owning a house, and farmers would enjoy prosperity through better agricultural yields.

CM Maryam Nawaz said the people had placed their trust in the PML-N because of its commitment to public welfare initiatives, including the provision of laptops, scholarships and free medicines. She expressed her government’s resolve to continue serving the people and building a prosperous Punjab.
