Punjab health minister visits Shahdara victims, orders best care

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique on Friday visited the mother and children injured in the tragic Shahdara incident at Mayo Hospital’s Burn Unit and directed doctors to provide them with the best possible medical treatment.

He also instructed the police to ensure justice for the victims.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister strongly condemned the incident and said that the police have been directed to investigate the matter from all angles. He said that those responsible must be brought to justice.
