Qambar Shahdadkot Police arrest main accused in honor killings case with weapon

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) The Imam Bux Police Station in Qambar Shahdadkot, in an operation conducted here Friday, arrested the main accused in honor killing case with weapon, within 24 hours.

According to the police, SHO Imam Bux Jamali, Sub-Inspector Sadruddin Gopang, along with his team, acted on a tip-off and apprehended the prime suspect, Rashid Ali Jamali, who was involved in the serious honor killings murder case, recovering the murder weapon—a gun with cartridges.

It is noteworthy that the arrested accused had fled after killing a young man, Javed Jamali and his 30 years old wife, Mst. Naseeban Jamali, over allegations of honor killings the previous day. A case was registered against the suspects at Imam Bux Jamali Police Station.

Further interrogation of the arrested accused is underway.
