KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, visited the JDC free blood testing laboratory at Numaish Chorangi on Thursday and appreciated its humanitarian services.
Speaking to the media, he said organisations like JDC Foundation Pakistan were serving suffering humanity, which was an encouraging sign.
He observed that such institutions were essential for the country’s prosperity and social welfare.
He said that he had assured Zafar Abbas of extending support and would take up the organisation’s requirement for machinery with the Prime Minister.
Referring to Pakistan’s diplomatic engagements, he said the country had gained global recognition due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir, who had worked tirelessly for peace in the region.
He added that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and the entire team had contributed to enhancing Pakistan’s international standing.
He said under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, several initiatives were being planned in Sindh, including upcoming projects at the Governor House, adding that the Prime Minister was committed to the province’s development and would soon launch multiple projects in collaboration with allied parties.
Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kheal Das Kohistani, who was also present on the occasion, said JDC was serving humanity without discrimination and reflected a positive image of Pakistan. He said the organisation’s requests would be placed before the Prime Minister, expressing confidence that the government would make efforts to fulfil them.
