Rawalpindi police handed over recovered vehicles worth millions to owners

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) On the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani, the Kallar Syedan Police successfully recovered seven vehicles worth millions of rupees and handed over to their rightful owners.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Anum Sher formally handed over the recovered vehicles to the owners in a ceremony attended by SDPO Kahuta and SHO Kallar Syedan.

A police spokesperson told on Saturday that the suspect had rented the vehicles and later fraudulently sold them in different districts of Punjab. Following a swift investigation, Kallar Syedan Police traced and recovered all seven vehicles from various districts within a few days.

Speaking on the occasion, SP Saddar Anum Sher said that Rawalpindi Police remain committed to protect the lives and property of citizens at all times.

She also urged the public to exercise caution in financial and business transactions to avoid fraud and exploitation.

The vehicle owners expressed their gratitude to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab and CPO Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani for the prompt action and successful recovery of their property.
