KAGHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) During the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, a record number of tourists visited Kaghan Valley over three days, including foreign tourists
as more than 128,862 tourists entered the valley during the three days from May 27 and 29, marking the highest tourist influx in the province.
According to data from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, Kaghan Valley remained the most visited tourist destination in the province, with 128,862 visitors, including 32 foreign tourists.
Tourists flocked to the valley to enjoy its cool weather, stunning landscapes, glaciers, scenic lakes, waterfalls, the crystal-clear waters of the Kunhar River, and the refreshing natural environment.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The Kaghan Development Authority, along with the civic administration, has appealed to tourists to keep the environment clean and avoid throwing garbage on riverbanks and other scenic areas. They urged visitors to dispose of waste properly in designated dustbins and waste bins.
Authorities also advised tourists to avoid staying or gathering near riverbanks, as water levels were rising rapidly due to the ongoing heatwave and accelerated melting of snow and glaciers, making the areas potentially hazardous.
Officials further stated that staff have been deployed at various points across the valley to guide and assist tourists.
