FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that reforms are being implemented to ensure speedy solution to citizens’ problems and in this regard, digital technology has been introduced across all departments.
He was listening to public complaints in his office during an open court under the open-door policy. He received applications from citizens and issued directives to the concerned officers for resolving their issues.
Interacting with the citizens, he said that modern technology is being utilized to improve the quality of FDA services, ensuring that applications are processed in the shortest possible time.
He further informed that online services are being provided for the issuance of property ownership clearance certificates, TP reports, possession slips, and other NOCs.
He said that zero-tolerance policy has been adopted against illegal housing schemes while under the recent housing reforms of the Punjab Government, matters related to the approval of housing schemes are being handled through a digital management system, enabling faster service delivery and greater transparency.
On certain complaints, he ordered immediate action against illegal occupants and encroachments and also directed the relevant departments to expedite departmental proceedings related to property inheritance transfers and the implementation of court decrees.
He assured that strict accountability will be ensured for staff found guilty of delay or negligence in the discharge of their duties, adding that an active monitoring system has been put in place in this regard.
