Registration of IUB with IPO made

The Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has announced the successful registration of their intellectual property as copyrights with the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) of Pakistan

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) The Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has announced the successful registration of their intellectual property as copyrights with the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) of Pakistan.

According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, the registration of the intellectual property as copyrights were given away to the researchers of the IUB including Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum and Wajid Raza Institute of Chemistry, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti and Prof. Dr. Salman Bin Naeem Faculty of Social Sciences, Dr.

Shafia Arshad Faculty of Health and Sciences, Dr. Shafia Arshad of Faculty of Health Sciences, Ms. Kulsoom Akhtar, Dr. Rashid Shaheen Ali Shan and Muhammad Amjad of Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

This achievement reflects the innovation of quality research work and the economic importance of knowledge, it added.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, congratulated the faculty members on this historic achievement. He appreciated the efforts of Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif and his team in facilitating and supporting the researchers.
