QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Harnai Arshad Hussain Jamali on Wednesday said that as per the instructions of the Balochistan government, the registration of all madrassas is being ensured so that transparency, improvement and uniformity could be brought in the education system.
He shared these views while chairing a meeting regarding the registration of madrassas, in which a representative delegation of madrassas from across the district and relevant authorities participated.
He said that the main objective of the meeting was to streamline the process of registration of madrassas and bring them within the legal framework.
He emphasized that madrassas are not only an important source of religious education but also play a key role in the intellectual and moral training of society.
The representatives of the madrassas present in the meeting were informed that it is mandatory to be registered under the Balochistan Charity Regulatory Authority (BCRA).
In this regard, details were also given about the registration procedure, required documents, and the deadline for registration before April 30, 2026.
The DC further said that all madrassas should complete their registration within the stipulated time so that any legal complications could be avoided, the district administration would fully cooperate with the madrassas in this process, and immediate guidance to be provided in case of any issue.
At the end of the meeting, the scholars appreciated the government's steps and assured that they would fully cooperate in the registration process and get their madrassas registered as per the legal requirements.
