ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 Attock provided emergency services to 498 people during the three days of Eidul Adha, according to District Emergency Officer Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq.
Sharing details of the Eid emergency operations, Dr. Ashfaq said that Rescue 1122 Attock Control Room received a total of 2,872 calls from May 27 to May 29, out of which 533 were emergency calls.
He said the reported emergencies included 374 medical cases, 58 road traffic accidents, six crime-related incidents, 21 fire emergencies, and 60 other emergencies.
The district emergency officer further stated that Rescue 1122 provided emergency assistance to 498 patients during the three-day Eid period, while 28 patients were shifted to various government hospitals in Rawalpindi under the Patient Transfer Service.
According to the official, Rescue 1122 maintained an average response time of approximately seven minutes throughout the Eid holidays.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Dr. Ashfaq said rescue personnel, ambulances, fire vehicles, and motorbike ambulance teams remained on high alert at mosques, imambargahs, Eid congregations, cattle markets, recreational sites, and other sensitive locations across the district. Special monitoring was also carried out at rivers and canal areas to prevent any untoward incidents.
Appreciating the dedication of Rescue 1122 staff, he said rescue workers continued to serve the public from the front line despite the festive occasion and remained fully prepared to protect lives and property.
He added that the department's timely response and preparedness helped ensure public safety across Attock district during Eidul Adha celebrations.
