Rescue 1122 Muzaffargarh observes earth hour

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) The Rescue 1122 actively participated in the global environmental initiative

by switching off lights at all its stations across the district.

The observance was carried out at multiple Rescue stations, including Muzaffargarh, Alipur, Jatoi, Shehr Sultan, Chowk Qureshi, and Rangpur.

The symbolic gesture aimed to raise public awareness about energy conservation and encourage responsible use of electricity to help protect the environment.

Speaking on the occasion, District Emergency Officer Engineer Ubaidullah Khan stated that Rescue 1122’s participation reflects its commitment to the Punjab government’s vision of promoting a sustainable environment through collective efforts. He emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in spreading the message of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility among the public.
