LAYYAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) The Rescue 1122 Control Room received a total of 568 calls the last day, including 134 emergency calls,
according to official sources.
During the day, Rescue 1122 responded to a variety of emergencies, including 20 road traffic accidents
and 102 medical emergencies.
In addition, rescue teams handled 10 miscellaneous incidents, which included six fall cases, one electric
shock incident, and two delivery (childbirth) cases.
The report further revealed that two crime-related emergencies were recorded, both involving physical
assault.
One fake call was also received, which was later verified through a callback.
A total of 138 individuals were provided emergency services in different incidents. Among them, 66 patients were given first aid on the spot, while 71 patients were shifted to THQ and DHQ hospitals for further medical treatment.
Unfortunately, one person lost his life in these incidents. However, Rescue 1122 personnel managed to save several lives through timely and effective response.
The average response time of Rescue 1122 was recorded at 8.64 minutes, while the motorbike service showed a quicker response time of 3.89 minutes.
