Rescue 1122 reviews Muharram preparedness in DIKhan

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan reviewed emergency preparedness and operational arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram during a high-level meeting chaired by Arif Ullah Khan District Emergency Officer (DEO) Rescue 1122.

The meeting was held on the directives of the Director General Rescue 1122 and Director Operations South Region and was attended by all section in-charges.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the emergency response plan, deployment of staff, availability of rescue resources, and arrangements at sensitive locations for Muharram. The DEO inspected the preparedness of all sections and directed officers and rescue personnel to remain fully alert and ready to respond effectively to any emergency situation during the holy month.

The District Emergency Officer also announced the cancellation of all types of leave for relevant staff to ensure uninterrupted emergency services throughout Muharram.

Later, the DEO visited various Rescue 1122 stations and the district control room, where he reviewed communication systems and operational readiness. He instructed officials to ensure the timely provision of quality emergency services to the public during Muharram-ul-Haram.

Rescue 1122 officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a swift and coordinated emergency response to safeguard public safety during the observance of Muharram.
