They are resolutely committed to fortifying national defence by continuously enhancing their professional capabilities and operational readiness, and to deliver a decisive and crushing response to any act of aggression by adversaries.

Talking to APP on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, marking historic victory of Pakistani armed forces, Dr. M. Umair Haroon paid a glowing tribute to Pakistan Armed forces and remarked that our armed forces are fully equipped and prepared to thwart any conspiracies hatched by the enemy.

He emphasized that the Pakistan Army's professional expertise on the frontlines, its integration of cutting-edge technology, and its unwavering readiness to respond decisively to any threat serve as clear evidence that our national defense is indomitable.

Dr. Haroon further noted that with each passing day, the Pakistan Army is reinforcing and optimizing its defensive capabilities through the adoption of modern technology, sustained research and development, and adherence to international standards.

Highlighting the induction of the Hangor-class submarine into the Pakistan Navy fleet as a significant milestone, he stated that this strategic initiative will strengthen the defense of Pakistan's maritime borders, contribute to greater stability in the regional balance of power, and enhance the effectiveness of safeguarding the country's territorial waters and exclusive economic zone.

He recalled that Pakistan successfully conducted the test of its Fateh missile system in 2025. After almost one year, the Pakistan Army successfully conducted training launch of an upgraded variant of the missile, projecting to the world a powerful message of Pakistan's technological advancement, scientific excellence, and strategic self-reliance in defense.

Dr. Haroon added that refining this missile system within such a short timeframe to achieve greater targeting precision and enhanced operational capabilities stands as a vivid testament to the steadfast resolve, tireless effort, and unwavering dedication of Pakistan's scientists, engineers, and the valiant personnel of the Pakistan Army.

He further stated that the successful development of this missile not only augments Pakistan's defensive capabilities but also represents a significant contribution toward promoting peace and stability in the region.
