SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Member Provincial Assembly Safdar Hussain Sahi inaugurated the project to make Queen
Chowk to 47 Bridge, 49 Tail Matha Masoom Bypass Road two-way, approximately 8.25 kilometers
long.
The project will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, the road from Queen Chowk to 47 Bridge will be
made two-way at a cost of Rs 250 million, while the remaining part will be completed in the next financial year.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Chamber of Commerce Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, Mirza Fazlur Rehman, Zafar Khan, Naeem Gujjar, Rao Nadeem, Malik Rab Nawaz Kachila, Bilal Warraich and other representatives of relevant departments and dignitaries of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Safdar Hussain Sahi said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, priority is being given to improving infrastructure, providing public facilities and urban development across the province. He said that historic steps have been taken in the health sector in Sargodha, of which the establishment of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology is an important milestone, where modern medical facilities are being provided.
He added that a mega project worth about Rs 13 billion has been given to solve the long-standing and serious problem of sewage faced by Sargodha city, on which work is underway.
Later, MPA Safdar Sahi also inaugurated Gulshan Bilal Main Road.
