Roof collapse in Bajaur claims four lives, one woman injured

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) At least four people, including two women and two young girls, lost their lives and one woman was injured when a house roof collapsed in Bajaur district on Wednesday.

The tragic incident occurred in the Mandal area of Dag Lam Shah, where the roof of a house suddenly caved in, trapping residents under the debris.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122 Bajaur, medical and rescue teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving the report.

The teams retrieved five individuals from the rubble and provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before shifting them in critical condition to District Headquarters Hospital Khar.

Hospital authorities later confirmed that two women and two girls had succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased were identified as the wife of Abdullah, the wife of Rehmatullah, daughter of Rasool Khan, and daughter of Aziz.

The injured woman was identified as the wife of Rasool Khan, who is currently under treatment.
