RPO reviews law & order situation

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Regional Police Officer Sargodha Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan on Tuesday presided over

a meeting of the Regional Coordination Committee and reviewed the law and order situation

and discuss proposals for controlling traffic accidents in the region.

The meeting, held at the RPO Office, was attended by district police heads of four districts

to enhance inter-departmental harmony and coordination.

Addressing the participants, the RPO Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan directed that preventive

measures against crime must be made more effective, emphasizing proactive action to eliminate

factors that lead to criminal activities.

He stressed the importance of identifying crime-prone areas to increase police presence

and monitoring.

The RPO further directed the police to collaborate with the food department to prevent wheat

smuggling and directed the traffic police and Safe City authorities to work together on strategies

to minimize road accidents.
