RPO visits FIEDMC to review security

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera visited the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) to review security arrangements for Chinese and other foreign nationals and directed police officials to ensure comprehensive protection at all industrial projects.

During visit, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Special Protection Unit (SPU) briefed the RPO in detail about the existing security arrangements at FIEDMC and other industrial zones where foreign engineers and workers are currently engaged in different development and power projects.

The briefing also covered deployment of security personnel, monitoring arrangements and coordination among different law enforcement agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, the RPO directed the police officials to ensure strict security of foreign engineers, workers and ongoing power projects, stressing that providing a peaceful and secure environment to foreigners was among the top priorities of the police.

Any negligence in the security of Chinese and other foreign nationals would not be tolerated under any circumstances, he added.
