Sargodha's first roller skating academy inaugurated

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Member of National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Muslim League-N Iram Hamid on Wednesday inaugurated the city's first roller skating academy at Company Bagh Joyland to promote healthy physical activities and sports culture among the youth.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Regional Sports Officer Rana Nazir Anjum, District Director Sports Officer Saima Manzoor, Assistant Sports Officer Muhammad Tayyab, and Coordinator of the Roller Skating Academy Muhammad Zahoor Gujjar.

Other notable attendees included Vice Chairman of International Human Rights Movement Zafar Gondal and Executive Committee Member of World Media Cell Pakistan Tariq Minhas, alongside various social and political figures.

Addressing the participants, the speakers termed the establishment of the academy as a significant milestone for sports development in Sargodha, stating that such institutions play a vital role in grooming the talent of the younger generation and building a healthy society.

The facility, located within the Company Bagh Family Joyland, is the first dedicated roller skating academy in the region and aims to provide modern training and coaching to children and young athletes under professional supervision.
