Sargodha to launch polio vaccination campaign from April 13

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) The district administration has finalized all arrangements for the upcoming anti-polio campaign scheduled

from April 13 to April 16 with a target to vaccinate 696,942 children.

The preparations were reviewed in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza

Chaudhry here on Thursday.

During the meeting, officials informed that comprehensive planning has been completed in all 167 union councils of the district.

A total of 3,331 teams have been formed for the campaign, including 3,036 mobile teams, 206 fixed points, and 89 transit points. Additionally, 612 area in-charges and 7,235 health workers and volunteers will participate in the drive.

The DC directed officials to ensure 100 percent coverage, emphasizing that no child should be left unvaccinated.
