Seminar highlights importance of Islamabad Talks

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) A seminar was organised here a the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) on the topic of Pakistan’s successful foreign policy and international politics under the theme of Marka-e-Haq.

According to an official press release issued here, the speakers paid tribute to the civil and military leadership for facilitating the Islamabad Talks between the US and Iran and establishing world peace as a result of Pakistani efforts. The seminar was organised under the guidance of Vice Chancellor IUB Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and was chaired by Campus Director Dr Rafaqat Ali.

The seminar was moderated by Additional Director Students Affairs Dr. Rehan Bin Tariq and Deputy Director Students Societies Muhammad Omar and members of the societies. Guest speaker Waqas Bin Tariq presented an overview of the important features, achievements and basic principles of Pakistan’s successful foreign policy at the current global level and presented guidelines and rules for students and youth to play their positive role.

The university teachers, employees and students participated enthusiastically in this seminar. The seminar ended with prayers for the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
