ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Senator and PPP leader, Saleem Mandviwalla, Tuesday, dismissed certain social media reports regarding President Asif Ali Zardari ‘as baseless and fabricated’.

“President Asif Ali Zardari is in good health,” he said, and emphasized that the rumors circulating on social media platforms should be rejected.

He strongly condemned the spread of false and misleading information, urging the public not to pay attention to unverified news on social media platforms, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.

Mandviwalla further said that the use of fake news for political purposes was highly regrettable and called on the relevant institutions to take action against those responsible for spreading such misinformation.
