Session Judge, gunman martyred, AS Judge injured in attack near Mastng's Wali Khan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Sessions Judge Mastung Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his gunman were martyred and Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) sustained serious injuries in the assassination attack when armed assailants opened fire at them near Wali Khan Bypass area of Mastung on Thursday

According to police source, the both judges were on way to the Session Court Mastung from Quetta in a vehicle when armed assailants opened fire on their vehicle and fled away from the scene.

As a result, the Session Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his gunman Muhammad Zaman died and Additional Session Judge Tariq Lashari received bullets injuries on the spot.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where Additional Session Judge was referred to Quetta Civil Hospital view of critical injured after completing first medical aid.

Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) reached the site and cordoned off the area and started investigation into the incident.
