Seven mill workers injured as factory bus overturns

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Seven workers of a private textile mill were injured after a factory bus overturned due to over-speeding near Dinga Phattak on Abbas Pur road within the limits of Saddar police station,on Monday.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, the bus owned by Masood Textile Mills lost control while taking a turn at high speed and turned turtle.

The injured were identified as Mujahid (40),Muhammad Shafiq (35),Muhammad Imran (36),Muhammad Kamran(24),Fazeela Bibi (30),Muhammad Khalid (46) and Imran (23).

Rescue officials said four of the victims sustained minor injuries and were treated on the spot,while three critically injured workers were shifted to Allied Hospital-II DHQ Hospital for further medical treatment.

Rescue teams responded swiftly,conducting relief operations and ensuring timely medical assistance to the injured,the spokesperson added.
