SIMAP, UMT explore industry-academia collaboration

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) A delegation of Executive Members from the Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP) held a meeting with the Executive Director, UMT Sialkot Campus Prof Dr Saleem Farooq Shaukat, to explore avenues for strengthening industry-academia collaboration.

The discussion focused on developing strategic linkages between UMT and Sialkot’s surgical instruments industry, particularly in the areas of workforce development, research collaboration, skill enhancement, and career opportunities for students.
