Sindh University announces summer vacations from June 1

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The University of Sindh has announced summer vacations for all its academic institutes, centres, departments and campuses from June 1 till July 31.

According to an official notification issued by the Registrar’s Office on Friday, the university would resume classes from August 3.

As per the notification, directors and chairpersons of all academic institutes, centres and departments had been directed to attend their offices twice a week on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 am to 1 pm during the vacation period.

The notification further stated that pro-vice chancellors, deans of faculties, administrative officers and supporting staff including programmers, superintendents, clerks, laboratory assistants, internet operators, computer operators, security guards and peons, would continue performing their duties as usual.

The faculty members had also been instructed to submit semester examination results to their respective directors and chairpersons before June 1.
