Sindhi Adabi Sangat hosts session on Ghazal, memories

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Sindhi Adabi Sangat in its weekly series of literary sessions hosted an event under chairmanship of young poet Aqil Kalhoro here at Khana Badosh Writer’s Café.

Eminent poets Shad Numai and Ghulam Mustafa Solangi read poetry of Ghazals and Intellectual Saleem Channa shared memories.

In literary session writer Nazeer Malkani narrated a tragic incident occurred in era of Muhammad Shah Tughlaq in story shape. While expressing their sentiments on the Ghazal of Shad Numai Writers Waheed Gaaho ,Saleem Channa, Gul Sindhi, Taj Joyo and Aqil Kalhoro said that it is a romantic and aesthetic Ghazal and possessing traditional verses it has colourful combination.

Sharing views on the Ghazal of Ghulam Mustafa Solangi Khan Jarwar, Gul Sindhi, Zawar Naqvi and Aqil Kalhoro said that usage of Radeef in Ghzal is wonderful. Ideas and wonderful language has been used in the Ghazal. Sharing views on the Sketch of Chicago tragedy writers Nazeer Malkani, M,B Muhabati, Shad Numai and Imran Soomro said that a rich tribute has been presented in brief narrative of Chicago tragedy but in our country particularly in Sindh labour and daily wagers are working 12 to 14 clocks daily despite hard circumstances and deprived of concessions as compared to offer in the developed countries.

Speaking on the memories of Saleem Channa writers Zawar Naqvi, Wahid Kandhro, Darya Khan Pirzado, Ghulam Mustafa Solangi and Aqil Kalhoro said that Saleem Channa has presented angelic contribution of Nurse “Rozi” in her memories who had served humanity irrespective of their race, religion and class discrimination. Later Aqail Kalhoro read two Ghazal without criticism. Literary session was attended among others by Taj Joyo, Gul Siindhi, Zawar Naqvi, Wahid Gaho, Nazeer Makani, Shad Numai, Imran Soomro, Lalaa Arsalan, Wahid Kandhro, Darya Khan Pirzado, Ghulam Musatafa Solangi, M.B Muhabati and Muahmmad Khan Mari.
