Small traders call budget 2026-27 a positive step for business stability, economic growth

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) The trader community Saturday welcomed the budget’s decision to exempt small traders from the “super tax,” calling it a business-friendly initiative and a positive step by the government that will help keep the wheel of the economy moving and support commercial activity across the country.

While speaking to ptv news channel, representatives of the trader community said the introduction of a fixed tax system will provide major relief to small shopkeepers by simplifying tax procedures, ensuring predictability in payments and reducing compliance burdens.

They added that such reforms will help ease financial pressure on small businesses and strengthen overall market stability.

A shopkeeper said the new system will ease financial pressure and make daily operations smoother, while another shopkeeper noted that fixed taxation will bring clarity and consistency in routine business matters.
