SMIU VC visits examination centers

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) The Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul islam University (SMIU) Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai visited centers of final-term examinations at SMIU on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by deans Dr. Jamshed Adil Halepoto, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan, and Dr. Stephen John; the controller of examinations, Furqan Iftikhar; and the registrar, Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh.

During the visit, Dr. Sahrai said that today there is a global-level competition for which one has to prepare, work hard and gain expertise in their subject instead of wasting time.

He further said the present is an era of great competition, in which students who are cheating will not be able to move forward in any way and will not be able to succeed in any field.

He was of the view that students who cheat in exams are playing with their future.

The vice-chancellor said that the purpose of the examinations is to test the knowledge and understanding of the students and how much they understood their subject.

Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai also interacted with the students regarding their subjects and examinations.

He also appreciated the hard work and efforts of the deans, faculty members, controller of examinations and other concerned departments of SMIU for conducting the examinations in a smooth manner.
